DARIUSZ FODCZUK [POLAND]
In my actions I try to build situations based on the interaction between the creator and the recipient. I am interested in controlling the process in the way it should include the recipient in a horizontal relationship with art, which would eliminate the division between creators and recipients. Social changes, and progressing democratization demand art transformation, that goes beyond the format of traditional art categories shaped in the renaissance. Contemporary art has already successfully eradicated the divisions between disciplines but there is still a visible border between the creator and the recipient. Using interaction and participatory practices I aim for moments when the experience of art eludes of conserving the structure of hierarchal divisions.
CLARIBEL JOLIE PICHARDO [QUEENS, NYC] The Joining
Born and raised in NYC, Claribel Jolie's artistic background is multi-faceted, drawing from visual art, performance and writing. An academically trained artist, she describes her performance work as nomadic, using personal experiences to set the stage for spontaneous interactions with her live audience. Jolie's past work include performances at Exit Art and Trickster Theater, the Queens Museum, Latin American Art Biennial at the Bronx Museum of the Arts, Grace Exhibition Space, Panoply Performance Laboratory, Glasshouse, Bushwick Open Studios, and more. Jolie lives in NYC with her husband and fellow artist Oliver Fuentes.

GERALDO MERCADO [BROOKLYN, NY]
Geraldo Mercado is a Brooklyn based artist creating kinetic body focussed performance art. Having been born with a high tolerance for pain, he pushes his body to the limit as a means of exploring identity, empathy, cultivation of understanding, and reveal the underlying machinations of performance art as a medium.
Geraldo’s first solo show In The Universes Where I Died took place in 2015 at Gallery Sensei in conjunction with Animamus Art Salon. His second solo show …And What Will We Do When We Get There was held at cloyingPARLOR in 2016. This is Geraldo’s seventh performance at Grace Exhibition Space, the first since recovering from an injury that forced him to take a break from performing.
HONEY MCMONEY [BROOKLYN, NY] Gay Jock Art
Watercolor on paper; paper and detritic sculpture and installations; performance art; books.
I work in no-, old- and low-tech media, in places with stuff at times. My work is a political and social interrogation of imagination and image culture, and an investigation of interdimensionality in serene conjunction with action, fortune, and the future.
