THINK OF YR FUTURE an evening of mixed media curated by laura blüer & miles pflanz
do you want to be famous? or just popular? what dream internship or dream job is coming yr way? what are you going to do w/ yr degree? and yr debts? where will you start yr family? and where will you move them so they can have the best opportunities? think of yr future. the hour is approaching. the judges will be judged and the jailers jailed. the screens will crack and none will connect. lightning in the square. thunder in the boardroom. drops of blood on corn as though dew from heaven. those who use labor only for profit will find nothing left to use. the tools they left to rust will be swallowed by the earth. what would lena do?

ABOUT GRACE EXHIBITION SPACE
Grace Exhibition Space opened in 2006 and is devoted exclusively to Performance Art. We offer an opportunity to experience visceral and challenging performance works by the current generation of international performance artists, whether emerging, mid career or established. Being a Brooklyn loft, our events are presented on the floor, not on a stage, dissolving the boundary between artist and viewer.
Grace Exhibition Space is run by Jill & Erik with Vincent Tiley. Jamie is our bartender and Leah runs the door.

"There is no designated stage area, blurring the line between audience and performer, and seating is sparse, as participating in the performance is encouraged. The unknown terrifies you, and yet something, maybe this very feeling, pushes you inside. Welcome to Grace Exhibition Space."Terri Ciccone. Bushwick Daily January, 2013
"On each night, and in each performance, the human body is redeemed from the mundane and made anew." David Lagaccia, Williamsburg Greenpoint News+Art (June, 2012)READ THE ARTICLE!
